Unframed Tapestry

This lovely hand-stitched tapestry created by Night Thocan, Threads of Blessing artist, measures 14 x 9 inches. Stitched in a predominantly cool color palette, Night offers a glimpse of everyday life in Uganda. Seated outside a family compound, a woman feeds chickens, while clothes dry on the line. Mountains and a beautiful blue and white textured sky complete the scene. 

Night lives in Erussi, a small village nestled in the mountains of northwest Uganda that is very close to the Congo.
