Eveline Anyango, Threads of Blessing artist, lives in Pader in the Diocese of Kitgum, which is the area of Uganda that has suffered for so many years with wars and other abuse. She offered this reflection after attending the annual Threads of Blessing conference.
“Thanks to the Almighty God for this time at the Threads of Blessing conference and that I was able to talk to you. I thank Threads of Blessing for the help given to me while I was in the hospital. God has seen me through. I am now much better. The thread work has helped me pay school fees for my children. We have also bought some land. I thank God for your help.”
