Margaret lives in the Diocese of Kampala and belongs to one of 29 stitching groups located across several Ugandan dioceses. The groups comprise over 900 women artists who are part of the Threads of Blessing family.
She offers this insight into her life and her participation as a Threads of Blessing artist.
Dear Texas Lovely Friends,
Praise the Lord for our friends in Texas and for Threads of Blessing. I have been blessed to have friends and fellowship. I invested my earnings in a business of selling old clothes, and promptly paid my debts. I have been able to support my daughter’s education with the monies I got. We as a group also tithe. Our group has attracted other churches and an orphanage group, where by members pay some of the required needs. I have been enlightened to share with friends and have patience and openness with others. I have a talent in threads now and how to manage my group members in drawing and stitching different designs.
