Beatrice Biliku, Threads of Blessing artist, offers this insight on how she shares the proceeds she receives from the sale of her art.
"With the funds I have received, I shared gifts of food with widows here in Bunyoro-Kitara and some to a widow in Arua, Nebbi Diocese. Since then, I have made it a point to share my earnings from anything I do with widows, orphans, and the needy. This has blessed me so much that anything I do, God blesses it abundantly. Thank you for blessing us by buying our pieces, and I will continue to bless others to bless me. May God’s blessing return to you in Jesus’ Name.”
Beatrice is the leader of her group. She meets weekly with her fellow needleworkers. The community they have developed through Threads of Blessing has encouraged each of them and has significantly raised their self-confidence.
