Brian Lubangakene created the sweet scene of a mother rabbit and her young that adorns this 10" x 9" x 3" zippered purse or pouch. It is made of sturdy tan weave, is lined with green print, and has an outside zippered pocket. For use as a purse, it has a detachable leather wrist strap; without the strap it serves as a handy stand-up pouch--perfect for charger cords, toiletries, or for use as a luggage organizer.
Brian lives in a suburb of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. She is a refugee from the north of Uganda, displaced from her village when it became unsafe to continue to live there. Brian will use the funds she receives for her needlework to provide education for her children; medical support for herself and her family; supplies for her crops; repairs to her home, and care for the orphans for whom she cares as a result of the war, HIV/AIDS or other illnesses.
