This gorgeous hummingbird, created by Immaculate Namara, is displayed on an 11" x 8" purse. The fabric is olive flannel and black denim, with green print batik lining. The purse has an interior zip pocket, an interior patch pocket, a heavy-duty top zipper, and a detachable wrist strap.
Immaculate lives in southern Uganda, in the diocese of Ruwenzori close to the Rwandan border – a particularly beautiful area known as the “Switzerland” of Uganda. Her life revolves around caring for her family and her crops, and she meets weekly with her fellow needle workers.
Immaculate will use the funds she receives from her needlework to provide education for her children; medical support for herself, her family, and orphans for whom she cares; supplies for her crops; and maintenance to her home.
