Mary Nambajjwe created this beautiful embroidery of red flowers on a green background. The embroidery, framed in deep red ribbon, forms the front of an 8" x 7" zippered purse with detachable hand-woven wrist strap. The black denim back has a zippered pocket, and the lining is red print.
Mary says, "I am a single mother of 5 children and 7 grandchildren. I thank God for Threads of Blessing. I have received blessing and been able to pay school fees plus provide for my home.”
Mary lives in Mukono, a city southwest of the capital city Kampala and where Uganda Christian University is located. She is an active member of her group meeting every Saturday afternoon.
