The pretty tapestry on this 8" x 8" black denim purse, stitched by Sarah Kobusinge, features a colorful red and orange bird eating berries. The cheery red batik lining echos the colors of the bird. The purse has a zippered closure, an outside zip pocket, and detachable wrist strap.
Sarah lives in southern Uganda, in the diocese of Ruwenzori close to the Rwandan border – a particularly beautiful area known as the “Switzerland” of Uganda. Her life revolves around caring for her family and her crops.
