Sunday Dhugira created the scene of two zebras among trees and plants on this zippered 10" x 7" x 3" purse/pouch. For use as a purse, it has a detachable wrist strap and interior pocket. Or it can be used as a handy stand-up pouch to store small items. The outer fabric is tan weave with black accents, and the lining is green batik print.
Sunday has great management skills. She currently lives in Goli as she is the manager of the Women’s Training Center where the annual workshop is held. She is a member of the group in Erussi, the small village where she grew up. In Sunday's words:
"I am a young Ugandan mother of 2 boys and a girl. God has blessed me with 2 orphans whom I am supporting. I coordinate the Threads of Blessing activities in Uganda. This has helped me to relate well with the women and encourage them to work hard. As I make my pieces I admire God’s creation and I care so much about the environment. It helps me mix colors well. May the Lord help everybody who supports this ministry in Jesus Name.”
