Cristine Keronga created the pretty yellow flower on this 7" x 7.5" shoulder bag. The black denim zippered purse has a zip pocket and detachable hand-woven shoulder strap. The lining is green/gold batik that echoes the colors of the tapestry.
Cristine lives in Pakwach, a small town located on the Albert Nile River in northwest Uganda. Her life revolves around caring for her family and her crops, and she meets weekly with her fellow needle workers.
Cristine will use the funds she receives from her needlework to provide education for her children; medical support for herself and her family; supplies for her crops; and maintenance to her home.
