Caroline Odongo created the pretty tulips on orange background that decorate this handy stand-up zippered pouch with detachable wrist strap. The pouch is made of off-white weave. The orange batik lining and hand-woven strap echo the background of the tapestry.
Caroline lives in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. She writes: “I really have much feelings that you people have for us. Threads of Blessing has really supported me in many ways. Last year it came when my husband was sick. It helped me to take him for his operation and paying school fees for the children. I have 6 children but due to money issues they are all not at school. I am still struggling to push 2 who are doing courses and 3 in Primary. Due to health issues we are both living positively but all children are free from it. The father also lost his eye. I thank God for the life and protection he has given.”
