Harriet Namuyiga's embroidery depicts three jaunty tigers walking out of the trees and hills. The design and stitching on this piece are stunning. The embroidery is displayed on an 18" zippered pillow covered in black linen with brown trim.
Harriet lives in Mukono, a city southwest of the capital city Kampala and where Uganda Christian University is located. She is an active member of her group which meets every Saturday afternoon.
In Harriet's words, “I thank the Almighty God for the friends from the USA who introduced Threads of Blessing. Threads of Blessing has helped me to look after my family and pay the school fees for my children.”
