“I am happy to be one of the group of Threads of Blessing. I am a widow with school going children. I know one day the Lord will bless the work of my hands to help me build a house for my children and educate them too. I promise to work hard with determination.”
Nancy lives in the Diocese of North Karamoja and meets weekly with her fellow needleworkers. The community they have developed through Threads of Blessing encourages each of them and has significantly raised their self-confidence. Nancy’s stitching group is one of 29 groups across several Ugandan provinces. Over 900 women artists help make up the Threads of Blessing family.
