Loice will use the proceeds from her needlework to provide education for her children and any orphans in her care, medical support for her family, seeds or fertilizer for her crops, and maintenance for her home.
She meets weekly with her fellow needlworkers for Bible study as they sew and share the events in their lives. The community they have developed through Threads of Blessing encourages them and has significantly raised their self-confidence. Some group have begun their own micro-enterprise projects using funds from the sale of their needlework.
