“Threads of Blessing has taught me how to be friendly and loving. It has enabled me to pay fees for my son in nursing school. It has also brought me to Jesus as I was a Muslim. I am now able to live happily in my home.” I have learned a lot through Threads of Blessing.”
Florence lives in Lira in Lango Diocese in northern Uganda. The people in this area have struggled with conflicts for many years. She meets regularly with her fellow needleworkers and belongs to one of 29 Threads of Blessing stitching groups located across Uganda. The groups comprise over 900 women artists who are part of the Threads of Blessing family.
