“Threads of Blessing is helping me with paying school fees. I have also bought goats and chickens. I now have about 12 goats. I have sent some of the money I have received to my mother and father. I have two children in my home and I give thanks to God that I can care for them and make sure they are well educated.”
Caroline lives in in Goli, Nebbi Diocese. Goli is a small rural village in northwest Uganda near the Congo. She meets weekly with her fellow needleworkers. The community they have developed through Threads of Blessing encourages each of them and has significantly raised their self-confidence. Caroline's stitching group is one of 29 groups located across several Ugandan provinces. The groups comprise over 900 women artists who help make up the Threads of Blessing family.
