Ruth lives in the Diocese of Nebbi, and meets regularly with her fellow needleworkers, who support and learn from one another. The community they have developed through their stitching group encourages each of them and has significantly raised their self-confidence. She belongs to the Threads of Blessing stitching group Goli-A, which is one of 29 groups across several dioceses in Uganda. The groups include over 900 women artists who make up the Threads of Blessing family.
