Florence Ocanda created this scene of animals grazing in the forest. The scene includes an elephant family, giraffe, zebras, and lizard under a rich forest canopy with a hint of blue sky--beautiful from all angles. The well-padded round wooden stool is 12" across and 11" high.
Florence, who lives in Goli, Nebbi Diocese located in northwestern Uganda close to the border with the Congo, says: “Threads of Blessing is great blessing to me and my family. It has helped me in the following ways:
- It has created a great fellowship among the members both locally and throughout the country of Uganda.
- It has financially empowered me to contribute towards the payment of school fees for our children.
- From the sale of my pieces I have been able to contribute towards the support of the daily needs of my family. These needs include gardening and cultivating, water bills, medical bills, and more.”
