Margaret Mary Komuhendo stitched the vibrant red flowers that decorate this 10" x 7.5" cross-body purse. The zippered black denim purse has two pockets (exterior and interior) and a hand-woven detachable strap, and is lined with a pretty batik print of purple, pink, and blue.
Margaret Mary lives in southern Uganda, in the diocese of Rwenzori close to the Rwandan border – a very beautiful area of Uganda. Margaret Mary's life revolves around caring for her family and her crops. She meets weekly with her fellow needle workers. She will use the funds from her needlework to provide education for her children; medical support for herself and her family; supplies for growing crops; and repairs to her home.
