Rose Julu embroidered this idyllic scene of a young goatherd tending his herd by the side of a stream. The roomy 17" x 16" denim bag has a large front pocket with Velcro closure, a zippered pocket on the back, and sturdy handles. The tote is edged and lined with pretty batik fabric, and the tote opening closes with magnetic snaps.
Rose lives in Pader, located in northern Uganda. This area of Uganda has struggled for many years due to conflicts and the HIV/AIDS crisis.
