Rosaline Acen created this scene of a zebra and giraffe by a tree. The tapestry decorates a roomy tote made of navy canvas with pastel blue lining. It has a large front pocket with twist clasp, a zippered back pocket, and sturdy handles.
Roseline lives in Goli in northwest Uganda. This is the village where Nebbi Diocese offices are located. Rosaline wrote this note to accompany her tapestry: “Hello dear friend. I am very happy to write to you a short letter. How are you over there? On my side I’m OK. I am thanking God for you so much because, friend, for selling my needlework. It helped me in paying school fees and farming. I have been blessed with five children. Thank you.”
