Peggy Awek Onimungu created the tapestry on this tote that depicts a woman leading a donkey laden with bananas down a path. The brown canvas, pastel batik lining, and pink zipper echo the beautiful colors in the tapestry. The tote has a large zippered outside pocket, an interior zip pocket, Velcro closure tabs, and sturdy handles.
Peggy is a member of the Secretariat group of women. They all work in some capacity for the Nebbi Diocese. Lack of funds makes life very difficult for these women who live in a rural area.
