Margaret is from Ruwenzori a mountainous region in western Uganda.
She offers this insight on her life and membership in Threads of Blessing.
“Praise God for the people in the USA who support us. Greetings to you all in the Name of Jesus. I want to thank the Lord for the life I have. I have lived with HIV since 1993. I am a widow with three children and three grandchildren.
In 2009, my left kidney was removed, so I now have only one. I have no uterus, and last year, I had COVID. I am very weak, but by God’s mercy, I am still alive.
I want to thank Dhugira Sunday (Threads of Blessing Ugandan Coordinator) for coordinating us so well and for Threads of Blessing and the team for the love. I also want to thank everyone who is selling and buying our pieces. God bless you.
I added some money to the funds I received from Threads of Blessing and built my house (semi-permanent—not thatch and mud). I call it White House. I saved some funds and bought two piglets, paid for my drugs, food, etc. Thank you so much for your support.”
