Every inch of this wonderful tapestry is packed with brightly colored flowers. This work, hand-stitched by Catherine Kihangire, Threads of Blessing artist, measures 14.5 x 12.5 inches.
Catherine is a member of the Buhimba group at All Saints’ Church in Hoima, Bunyoro-Kitara Diocese in western Uganda, and offers this insight.
“I praise the Lord for you and everything. Since I received money, I have bought things for the house, tithed, bought food, and I paid debts. I thank our friends who buy our pieces. I praise the Lord for that.”
