Florence lives in Goli, Nebbi District. Goli is located in northwest Uganda, close to the border with the Congo. She offers this insight about her involvement as a Threads of Blessing artist.
“I would like to thank you for the love to my family through Threads of Blessing and the fellowship I always have in this group. I have learned how to mix colors. I thank God for the joy, love, and hearts. May the almighty God bless you. Amen”
She meets weekly with her fellow needleworkers. The community they have developed through Threads of Blessing encourages each of them and has significantly raised their self-confidence.
