Betty lives in Goli, Nebbi district in northwest Uganda, close to the border with the Congo. She offers this testimony on her life and her participation as a Threads of blessing artist.
“Praise the Lord! Thank God for the wonderful gift of hands. He has allowed me to be a member of Threads of Blessing. When I received the money, it helped me a lot, all because of God’s fervor. I have six children for whom I am paying school fees. I also farm, and all this has reduced the shame of my husband that I don’t earn money. I also help a friend learn how to stitch pieces of cloth. Mama Phoebe has promoted me to the leader of Bero Parwoth Group Goli B. I am blessed. Thank you, and I pray that the Almighty God bless you in Jesus' Name.”
