Priscillar Kemigisa is a 17-year-old student. She embroidered this very colorful bird perched on a branch displayed on this 8" x 10" journal cover. The journal is made of dark denim with an African batik fabric lining. The notebook itself is a standard composition book that is easily replaced.
Priscillar lives in western Uganda, in the diocese of Ruwenzori, close to the Rwandan border – a lovely area known as the “Switzerland” of Uganda. She will use the funds earned from her embroidery for her education and help her family.
